Rankfall has no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. Here is everything the game keeps and why.
On your device
Your stats, streak, settings and today's progress are saved in your own browser. They never leave your device unless noted below. Clearing your browser data removes them.
"How everyone did"
When you finish the daily puzzle, the game sends your result (how many tries you took, whether you solved it, and the order of your first try) with a random number your browser made up. The random number only stops the same game being counted twice; it isn't linked to your name, email or anything else about you. Only running totals are kept, such as "40% solved in 3 tries", never a list of individual games.
Visitor counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages load slowly. It uses no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites, and doesn't collect personal information. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also keeps short-lived server logs, as every web host does.
Fonts
The game's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees a request from your browser when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that.
Sharing
Nothing is posted anywhere unless you press Share. A shared result shows only your tries, never the answers or anything about you.
Children
Rankfall doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
